I live in Uckfield and have been a governor at Framfield School since 2020. I first became a governor in 1995 in South London for a small school with a high refugee intake and over 21 different first languages spoken by the children. On moving to East Sussex with a young family, I joined the board of governors for a large primary school in Uckfield for 12 years. I am now a retired management consultant and charity trustee. I enjoy walking locally, especially from May to September when there are plenty of dragonflies about.
