Eagles class has had an exciting and enriching start to the new term, enjoying a fantastic trip to the Houses of Parliament. The children took part in an engaging workshop and learned all about how a law is made. The experience brought our learning to life and gave us a real insight into how decisions are made in the UK.
We also visited Tate Britain, where the children had a wonderful time exploring the gallery and were excited to see the painting ‘No woman, no cry’ by Chris Ofili, which they had previously seen as part of their Black and British topic. It was a special moment to see the artwork in real life.
Back in the classroom, we have been working hard revising algebra and angles in maths, building confidence and sharpening our problem-solving skills. In PE, we have started netball this term, and the children have shown great enthusiasm as they develop their teamwork and co-ordination.
Well done to everyone for a positive and productive start!
